Welcome to KristiWineNerd! I’m your resident host and wine blog writer, Kristi Mayfield. I couldn’t be more excited you’ve chosen to spend a little time joining me on my journey into wine.
I’m not your typical wine blogger in that I don’t work in the service or distribution industry. In fact, I’ve never even worked in a restaurant or bar. What I am is a passionate geek for all things wine, I’m a WINE EDUCATOR! Bottom line, I love dirt, I love vinesm I love wineries, I love vintners, I love WINE.
Driven by my passion for wine, this blog allows me to turn it into a platform for educating and inspiring others to take the fear out of wine. Additionally, I’m the FOUNDER for a super cool wine education program, WINE WIZE, and an online wine course designed for everyday people- enthusiasts and professionals alike (check us out at DOMSOM.us).
My mission is to bring you every day tips, tricks and insights into the magical world of wine.
