Nothing is as American as football and wine!

NFL Playoffs go better with WINE!

Daily Confessional: Gotta confess, I am not a beer drinker. Very rarely do I pop the top on a cold brew or chug down a frothy schooner. Exception – Brandon Ale…. I’ll let you do the research! So what’s a girl to do when her husband is a huge sports fan and sporting events are a frequent date location? Not that I have to have a drink at every sporting event mind you, but it is a real struggle when a crisp white wine is all I want to drink during a game and my options are slim to none!

True, most professional league sporting venues have wine somewhere within their concession venues. But they are either few and far between or the selection is limited to one red and one white. BORING! Unless you’re lucky enough to be watching the game from a suite or in a new and progressive venue, wine is really stinking hard to find in sports. I’m thinking I should go on a mission to convince all of the major league sports teams to put a wine bar or wine concession every 100 feet in each stadium or arena! I’m sure it’ll be a no brainer and I’ll get all those sports fans out there to raise a glass and cheers with me at every great play!

Reality sets in… hard. Sadly, this vision will never come true as wine and sports are not likely to ever be the best of friends. I get it. But maybe, just maybe, with more and more wineries promoting wine in can options, a modified version of my vision may become more mainstream than exception! Give me a “W”! “W”! Give me an “I”! “I”! Give me an “N”! “N”! Give me an “E”! “E”! What’s that spell? WINE!
