It’s shocking to me how quickly 2023 has slipped by right before my eyes! It’s been a doozy – lots of fun, lots of friends, lots of wine and most importantly lots of reflection. 2023 has had it’s own wine style! For me, this reflection has centered on the “what’s next”. What do I want to do next, what do I want to be when I grow up. I’m sure many of you are right there with me!
So, what is in store for KristiWineNerd? I’m soooooo excited I can hardly stand it! Let me share a few nuggets on what is about to happen! First, WSET 3! YIKES! SCARY! FRIGHTENING! But exciting as well. I’m a passionate wine nerd and to continue my own education is critical to the next steps in my own wine journey! Wish me luck as I’ll be nose to the gridstone starting in February 2024!
Next on my excitement factor list – NEW ZEALAND! We’ll be launching late January and our entire trip is golf, golf, golf, wine, wine, wine! What could be better?! If we don’t return, don’t say I didn’t warn you. I’ve heard the land of Lord of the Rings is absolutely magical and many visitors don’t ever want to leave – will that be me???
What else is happening in my wine style
Finally, I’m launching the next phase of my wine education passion and taking to the streets. I cannot divulge much more yet, but stay tuned as this is going to be epic! My research has led me to a business model I cannot wait to embark upon and I know you’re all sitting on pins and needles to find out what it is!
Charisse and I have completed 15, yes 15 episodes of Somm Women Talk Wine and are planning for a fun-filled lineup in 2024.
