Being a Somm who has never worked in the service industry, I bring a new perspective for every day wine lovers! Quite candidly, I’m a wine nerd in every way! My blog is a documentary of my wine adventures and journeys with a goal of sharing easy to learn and easy to use tips and tricks along the way.
Wine used to scare the puh-tookey out of me. And when I wasn’t confused and afraid of it, I was frustrated by it. I’ve never been a spirits or cocktail kind of gal, I’ve simply always loved wine. But my lack of basic knowledge kept me from enjoying not only what I loved about it, but also kept me from being able to describe what I didn’t like about some styles of wine. Can you relate?
So what does a nerd do about it? I study, I explore, I taste, I learn, I ask questions and I completely change my relationship with wine!
